COFFEE

DHUWA is a modern Indigenous business. We are Indigenous owned, managed and controlled. Proudly Australian we source premium beans from the world’s finest growers and make our coffee in Naarm on Wurundjeri country within the Kulin nations.

We source premium beans from the world’s finest growers and make our coffee in Naarm on Wurundjeri country within the Kulin nations.  Australia’s climate and the altitude that coffee can be grown at restricts diverse and large quantities being available.  At DHUWA as we supply into Woolworths at scale we have chosen to feature our neighbours Papua New Guinea and Indonesia along with beans from Brazil, Colombia, India and Ethiopia in our blends bringing great quality flavours and ensuring consistent supply all year round.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our coffee bags are REDcycle certified. It means our packing is reused to produce new products such as asphalt, signs and outdoor furniture. Simply take your empty DHUWA bags to your local Woolworths store to help close the loop. For further information, please visit redcycle.net.au

WHERE CAN I BUY DHUWA

DHUWA’s exclusive launch partner is Woolworths. Australia’s biggest retailer, Woolworths has supported us as an Indigenous start-up.  Together with Woolworths Group Reconciliation Action Plan we help support economic development of Indigenous Australia. As the first Indigenous-owned coffee brand available at a major supermarket, it’s a good opportunity to provide broad access for people who not only enjoy a good cup of coffee, but who have an interest in a more equitable society for everyone. DHUWA is now available at selected stores and we look forward to growing this list. Click to find your nearest Woolworths store.
